Fire Door Inspections

Well-maintained and effective fire doors are key to the safety of the building and its occupants. Regular inspection of door-sets in certain properties are required by the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022*.

Fire doors are vital to passive fire protection, and a fully comprehensive inspection helps to ensure doors are properly maintained and statutory obligations met.

By instigating routine, systematic checks on both the communal and residential fire doors, this allows the responsible person to implement an effective and ongoing maintenance regime.

* These regulations came into force on 23 January 2023, following commencement of the *Fire Safety Act 2021.
